Review of 2006

December 29, 2006

2006 has almost come to end and I suppose it’s only natural that one starts to think about events in the past year. India, France, Roskilde, work, kids, rain, rain, rain, school, friends, fun, sad, …. all things I have experienced this year. Understandably India was this year’s highlight where I got to meet some really amazing people and where I had the biggest cultural shock of my life!

I was thinking, when one is so fortunate to experience all these things in a year, does one change? I think I’ve changed, or at least I’ve discovered new sides of myself. How noticable it is to the outsideworld however is another question. Not what matters I guess. But all this stuff about new years resolutions, making all these promises that no-one keeps.. isn’t it better to just try to experience as much as one can, and hope life teaches you everything you need to know? Lets call it "natural improvement", in a replacement for "forced new years make myself better in a snap" kind of improvement.   Hm… so life altering new years resolutions, I have no faith in. Small fun ones however is ok :) Tory: your’s the best I’ve heard so far!

My newyears resolution is to have a life. Live and Learn! :) but hey, as always I’m open for suggestions!
